Sedona Charter School Admissions
Founded in 1995, Sedona Charter School is Arizona's oldest charter school and has been serving families for more than 30 years. Our Montessori campus offers a warm, close-knit learning community where children are encouraged to explore, think independently, and reach their full potential.
Tuition-free public Montessori education is available for kindergarten through elementary school, with tuition-based options for full-day kindergarten and preschool.

Enrollment
Each year, Sedona Charter School accepts new students on a first-come, first-served basis, based on when completed enrollment paperwork is received by the school office. Currently enrolled students and siblings of currently enrolled students receive priority.
As classes fill, students may be placed on a waitlist, and parents will be notified if space becomes available. Waitlists do not carry over from year to year, so it is important to submit a completed enrollment application to secure your child's space when enrollment is available.

In accordance with our Parent Observation Policy, parent observation and volunteer participation are encouraged at Sedona Charter School. We want parents to have a solid understanding of their child's classroom and learning environment.
Classroom observations must be scheduled in advance and approved by the Principal Educator. Observations should not exceed one hour unless a longer observation has been approved by the Principal Educator.
Before entering the classroom, please stop at the school office to sign in and receive a copy of the Observation Guidelines. Please read and follow these guidelines throughout your visit.
During the school day, teachers may not be available to speak with you, as their attention must remain focused on the students. Observers should be as unobtrusive as possible and avoid interfering with classroom activities. Depending on the circumstances, an observer may be asked to leave the classroom.
To protect student privacy in accordance with federal law, photography and all other forms of audio or visual recording are prohibited during classroom observations.
