Sedona Charter School Admissions

Founded in 1995, Sedona Charter School is the oldest charter school in Arizona. Sedona Charter School is a tuition-free Montessori elementary and middle school where your child can flourish in a safe, small-school environment that fosters personal and academic growth.

At Sedona Charter School, we believe in providing a holistic education that prepares our students for success in all areas of their lives. From our experienced teachers to our engaging curriculum, we are dedicated to providing a top-notch education that prepares our students for a bright future.

Each year we accept new students on a first-come first-served basis, based on when completed paperwork is turned in to the office. Currently enrolled students and siblings of currently enrolled students receive priority. Open enrollment for the upcoming school year begins the first week of February.

As classes fill up, students can join a waitlist, and we will notify parents if space becomes available.  We do not carry over our waitlist from year to year. It is  important to turn in a completed enrollment application to secure your child’s space.

If you would like to enroll your child in Sedona Charter School, please contact the school office at 928-204-6464, or email office@sedonacharterschool.com.  New students are accepted on a first-come first-served basis beginning on the admissions start date at 11:00am which can be found in our school calendar during the first week of February each year.

Sedona Charter School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age in its programs and activities and provides equal access to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups. The following person has been designated to handle inquiries regarding the non-discrimination policies:   Amy Fultz, telephone 928 204-6464.

Our Mission

Our Montessori school challenges each child to achieve excellence through an individualized program, which includes a schoolwide musical strings program. We inspire a passion for learning, instill a sense of personal responsibility, and cultivate a respect for the environment and involvement in the community.

Our Vision

Through the alumni of Sedona Charter School, we aspire to create a world in which:

People use empathy, respect, and a commitment to excellence as they work together to overcome challenges, achieve social justice, and ensure a sustainable future.

Each person finds and fulfills his or her intrinsic purpose.

People recognize the value in every human being including themselves, and every culture including their own.
