Governing Council

As a school board member at Sedona Charter School, Amy Fultz, brings a wealth of experience in education and community leadership to her role. As a school board member at Sedona Charter School, Christa Badorek, brings a wealth of experience in education and community leadership to her role. With a passion for promoting academic excellence and student welfare, Christa actively participates in decision-making processes, advocates for the needs of students and staff, and contributes valuable insights to discussions on policy and strategic direction.

Jennifer Kirk has a student in lower elementary and ahs been involved in the school for 3 years.  Her calm demeanor and logical approach to issues makes her an invaluable member of our board.  

As a school board member at Sedona Charter School, Jess Sweeney, brings a wealth of experience in education and community leadership to her role. With a passion for promoting academic excellence and student welfare, Jess actively participates in decision-making processes, advocates for the needs of students and staff, and contributes valuable insights to discussions on policy and strategic direction.

John Griffin is a long time resident of Sedona and spent his career working in Construction.  John's wealth of knowledge in building code and creating structures continues to help and guide our school community.  He fell in love with SCS when attending a strings performance and continues to be commited in SCS's Success.

This is Julie's sixth year on the SCS Governing Council.  As a practicing CPA, Julie provides guidance on fiance and budgeting.  She has a wealth of knowledge from her involvement with SCS over the years.

Mark Antin joins us for his secodn year on the governing council..  Mark does an excellent job of examining issues and policies from mutiple angels. During discussions, he askes great questions.  Mark is a joy to work with for the betterment of SCS.

Peter has had two children at SCS.  He has been involved participating in many activities.  He is excellent at searching and finding files and currently, he is the secretary of the board.

Ricky Cobban is both parent and president of the governing council.  He works diligently to keep our meetings on task and productive.  When he is not volunteering or working as an accountant, he is cooking, camping or traveling.
