Ryo Fukuda was born and raised in New York.  He received his Undergraduate Degree  on violin performance at the Manhattan School of Music.  He also did some graduate work while on a String Quartet fellowship at U.C.S.B.

He established a private teaching studio in the South Bay Area of California.  While living in Northern California he performed concerts with the San Jose Symphony, San Jose Chamber Orchestra, Opera San Jose, California Symphony, Monterey Symphony, Reno Philharmonic and others.

He also taught for four years at the Yew Chung International School of Silicon Valley. He taught as an Adjunct Lecturer at Santa Clara University.  In addition to playing and teaching he also conducted some of the local youth symphonies.  He has spent the last two years at The School for Strings in NYC.  At that school he enrolled in their Suzuki Teacher Training seminar.

He is really excited to be part of the Sedona Community and is looking forward to a great year!
